"Brown Thoughts" is a mix media print, using a combination of 2 printmaking techniques . The first two colors were printed using a reductive Woodblock technique, using the natural wood grain and hand carving to create a background texture. The third color was printed using a serigraph technique, using a photograph the artist captured in Boyle Heights. Once the printing process was completed, the prints were then hand deckled, signed and numbered.
